Creators of Cult Classic Syberia Reveal First Gameplay from Upcoming Remaster

Microids has released the first teaser for the upcoming remaster of Syberia, the beloved adventure game originally launched in 2002. The updated version is set to arrive in 2025 on PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PS5.

The trailer offers a brief look at the game’s protagonist, Kate Walker, and the mechanical toy factory where her journey begins. Syberia follows the young journalist as she searches for the missing inventor Hans Voralberg, taking players on a whimsical and emotional journey that helped the original earn cult status.

The remaster will feature completely overhauled visuals with fully 3D environments, improved controls, and reimagined puzzles.

Prior to this, Microids also released a remake of Amerzone – The Explorer’s Legacy, the first adventure game by Benoît Sokal.
