Level designer Nikita Osadchuk attempted to recreate the Rookie Village from S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl using Unreal Engine 5.6. He showcased the results of his work on ArtStation.
According to the author, it took him three days to work on the location. The enthusiast noted that he could have made it even better, but he got tired of the project. The location was created using a preview version of Unreal Engine 5.6, which became available to developers on May 15. In this new version, Epic Games addressed several performance issues. More details can be found here.
As a reminder, GSC Game World recently released patch 1.4.3 for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 and detailed the bugs it fixed. A short while ago, patch 1.0.2 was released for the remasters of S.T.A.L.K.E.R.
It’s worth mentioning that just a few days ago, we published an article sharing our impressions of the S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Legends of the Zone Trilogy – Enhanced Edition.
