James Bond Returns: First Trailer for 007 First Light Revealed

Hitman developer IO Interactive has just dropped the first trailer for 007 First Light, their take on the James Bond universe. Alongside the trailer, they've also shared some initial screenshots, giving us a glimpse of what's to come.

007 First Light is set to be a third-person action-adventure with stealth elements, reimagining James Bond's origin story. The game will chronicle the transformation of a young Naval pilot into the elite MI6 agent we all know and love. Throughout the game, players will globe-trot to various locations and encounter new characters, including John Greenway, Bond's mentor, and the enigmatic Isola. The project is being built on IO Interactive's proprietary Glacier engine, the same engine that powers the Hitman series. 007 First Light is slated for a 2026 release on PC (Steam) and consoles.
