Razer Unveils Phantom Green Collection Featuring Translucent Gaming Gear

Razer has launched its Phantom Green Edition device collection. The lineup's standout feature is its semi-transparent greenish plastic shells, offering a glimpse into the components. This design intensifies the effect of Razer's Chroma RGB lighting, making it appear to glow not just on the surface, but from within the devices themselves.

What's in the Collection:

  • Basilisk V3 Pro 35K Gaming Mouse: This familiar model gets a translucent makeover. It keeps its core features: the precise Focus Pro 35K optical sensor, the customizable HyperScroll wheel, and 13 programmable buttons. The lighting is now visible underneath too.
  • BlackWidow V4 75% Compact Keyboard: The scaled-down mechanical keyboard features a translucent case and keycaps made from special light-diffusing ABS plastic. It's equipped with tactile Orange Gen-3 switches, stabilizers, and noise-dampening foam.
  • Barracuda X Chroma Wireless Headset: Razer's gaming headphones join the translucent trend with new elements. They retain the 40mm TriForce drivers and feature six-zone Chroma lighting.
  • Firefly V2 Pro Gaming Mat: Even the mousepad gets an unusual upgrade. The translucent treatment applies to the housing of its control module, while the main surface keeps its perimeter lighting. The convenient extra USB passthrough port remains.

The technical specs remain identical to the opaque versions. All devices support lighting synchronization via Razer Synapse software, promising vibrant light shows enhanced by the transparent casings. This new design comes at a premium — expect to pay about $10 more than the standard versions. The collection is available now on Razer's website and is sure to catch the eye of gamers seeking standout aesthetics.
