Death Stranding 2 Now Top-Rated Game on PS Store

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, the highly anticipated French RPG, has been knocked off its perch! Death Stranding 2: On The Beach, the latest from Kojima Productions, now holds the crown as the highest-rated game on the PlayStation Store.
Kojima's new project has clearly resonated with both critics and players alike, earning a stellar 4.93/5 rating on Sony's platform. Sandfall Interactive's RPG isn't far behind, though, with a respectable 4.91/5. However, it's worth noting that Death Stranding 2: On The Beach has only garnered around 15,000 ratings so far, compared to Clair Obscur: Expedition 33's impressive 47,000. This means the average score for Kojima's game could shift as more players weigh in.
Interestingly, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 previously lost its title as the highest-rated game of 2025 on Metacritic. The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom — Nintendo Switch 2 Edition and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild — Nintendo Switch 2 Edition overtook it there.
