Crunchyroll Teases Second Season of Black Clover

Streaming service Crunchyroll dropped a teaser and poster for the highly anticipated second season of the hit anime series, Black Clover, at Anime Expo 2025. A premiere date was not announced.

The first season of Black Clover ran from 2017 to 2021 and garnered an impressive 8.14/10 rating on MyAnimeList, securing the #55 spot in popularity among all anime on the site (a sort of anime equivalent to IMDb). In 2023, the franchise expanded with the release of the feature film Black Clover: Sword of the Wizard King.

In related anime news, Netflix recently unveiled the first teaser for the second season of Cyberpunk: Edgerunners. Additionally, the trailer for Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc has been released, and a new teaser for the second season of Frieren: Beyond Journey's End has also surfaced online.
