“Absolute Gem”: Co-op Shooter Mycopunk Is Blowing Up on Steam

Devolver Digital and developer Pigeons at Play have released Mycopunk, a co-op survival shooter set during a fungal apocalypse, into early access — and players are loving it. The game is priced at just $15.

Mycopunk follows a ragtag squad of nearly obsolete robots sent on high-risk missions to uncover the source of a massive outbreak.

Combat encourages players to combine abilities for “strategic co-op mayhem”, while deep weapon customization lets you fine-tune your loadout to match your playstyle.

At the time of writing, Mycopunk boasts a 97% positive rating on Steam. Judging by the early feedback, the game is already striking a chord with fans of Helldivers 2, Deep Rock Galactic, and other co-op favorites.
