The internet has gotten its first official look at House of the Dragon star Milly Alcock suited up as Supergirl. Alcock’s version of Kara Zor-El made her debut in James Gunn’s recent Superman film and will headline her own solo movie in 2026.
The images were shared by stylist Lindsay McAllister, who worked on Superman. Based on the photos, Supergirl’s costume follows the same visual style as David Corenswet’s Superman suit, maintaining a cohesive design within Gunn’s new DC Universe.
Supergirl is scheduled to premiere on June 24, 2026. The film is directed by Craig Gillespie (Cruella, I, Tonya) and stars Jason Momoa and Matthias Schoenaerts alongside Alcock.
Meanwhile, James Gunn’s Superman grossed $217 million globally in its opening weekend against a reported $225 million budget.
