Gothic 1 Remake Gets New Trailer and Release Window

The THQ Nordic Digital Showcase 2025 brought us a new trailer for Gothic 1 Remake, along with the reveal of its release window: early 2026.

But that's not all for Gothic fans! The showcase also announced console versions of the classic Gothic, Gothic 2, and Gothic 3, coming to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. All three titles will feature updated controls and full gamepad support. They are also scheduled to launch in 2026.

Gothic 1 Remake is being developed by Alkimia Interactive using Unreal Engine 5. The game is set to release on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S. A free demo is currently available for download on Steam.
