Keeping things cool is an upgraded "Frostwind Cooling" system with dual fans and four heat pipes. GPD promises it stays quiet too, running under 30 dB(A) while efficiently dumping heat.
Internal GPD testing shows the Radeon 8060S delivering a solid 35% FPS boost in Cyberpunk 2077 compared to the Radeon 890M, all within that 55-75W power envelope. Its per-watt efficiency is also a massive 2.36x better than the Radeon 780M. Oh, and it's no slouch for AI either – it can handle large models with up to 70 billion parameters.
While positioned as GPD's biggest x86 portable yet, the WIN 5 still manages to be more compact than the Steam Deck. It weighs in at 565 grams without the external battery. Expect it to hit the market sometime Fall 2025. Pricing? GPD's keeping that under wraps for now.
