For over a year, a group of dedicated enthusiasts has been working to bring S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl to Android and iOS devices. They recently shared a fresh set of screenshots showcasing their progress on this mobile version of the iconic shooter.
Dubbed S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Unity Edition, this project aims to port the original S.T.A.L.K.E.R. to the Unity engine, enabling it to run on Android and iOS devices. The developers recently polled fans, asking whether they should release a build with only the Cordon area or port all the locations and release a complete version. The majority of players voted for the latter. The enthusiasts have not yet announced a release date for the mobile version.
In other S.T.A.L.K.E.R. news, GSC Game World recently revealed that they will be adding new quests, anomalies, binoculars, night vision devices, a "Master" difficulty level, and more to S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2.
