NVIDIA RTX 5090 Graphics Card Prices Finally Drop in Europe and the US

Following months of tight supply and major price gouging, GeForce RTX 5000 graphics cards are finally approaching — and in some cases, even dipping below — their official MSRP. European buyers were the first to see these official price cuts, as NVIDIA adjusted the recommended pricing for key models in the region.

Market data indicates the most significant drop has been for the top-tier GeForce RTX 5090. Its new MSRP is now set at €2,099, a drop of €230, or nearly 10%. Prices have also fallen for the RTX 5080 and RTX 5070. The cost of entry-level models, including the RTX 5070 Ti and RTX 5060, remains unchanged for now.

This price correction reflects a broader trend of market stabilization, which analysts attribute to improvements in the supply chain and increased availability for consumers.

Simultaneously, positive changes have begun appearing in the United States. Major retailer Best Buy has listed the ASUS TUF Gaming RTX 5090 for its base MSRP of $1,999. This marks one of the first times since the card's launch six months ago that the flagship model has been available at its recommended price.

Until now, the situation in the States has been far more strained compared to Europe. Most listings for the RTX 5090 have remained in the $2,300 to $2,700 range, and sometimes even higher.

Industry experts suggest that this trend of falling prices is likely to continue. The appearance of cards at MSRP in major retail chains is a clear sign that supply is finally catching up with demand. For gamers, this means the chance to snag a powerful new graphics card at a reasonable price is becoming a reality. The market is gradually returning to equilibrium after a long period of frenzied demand.
