Open-World LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight Announced

A new LEGO Batman game, LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight, was announced at Opening Night Live, complete with a debut trailer and first screenshots.
LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight will be a third-person, open-world action-adventure game with drivable vehicles. The game will tell the story of Bruce Wayne's journey to becoming Batman, including his training with the League of Shadows and the creation of his family of allies, which includes Jim Gordon, Catwoman, Robin, Nightwing, and Batgirl. Players will face off against iconic Batman villains like the Joker, Penguin, Mr. Freeze, Poison Ivy, and Bane.
The developers highlighted the game's features, including an engaging combat system, a sprawling open world, the ability to drive various Batmobiles and Batcycles, and the inclusion of iconic locations from the Batman universe, such as Arkham Asylum, Ace Chemicals, and Wayne Tower.
The game is being developed by TT Games and is scheduled to release in 2026 on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and Switch 2. The PC version will be available on Steam and the Epic Games Store.
