GSC Game World has unveiled a new S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 trailer, confirming the game will release on PlayStation 5 on November 20.

The PS5 version will take advantage of DualSense features, including enhanced haptic feedback, adaptive triggers, built-in speaker support, and gyroscope aiming. Players will also be able to play the guitar on the touchpad — much like in The Last of Us: Part 2.

On PS5 Pro, the developers have boosted resolution and improved shadows, reflections, volumetric fog, and cloud quality.

Preorders are already live on the PlayStation Store: Standard Edition ($60), Deluxe Edition ($80), and Ultimate Edition ($110). A Collector’s Edition with a physical copy is planned for 2026.

Recently, console versions of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 added mod support, with one developer quickly bringing CJ, Shrek, and other unexpected characters into the game.

Earlier, GSC Game World released Patch 1.5.3, which addressed several additional bugs. The studio is now preparing a major update that will introduce new quests, anomalies, and more.
