Player Spends 1,200 Hours Building Massive Fortress in Valheim

The Valheim community never fails to impress with its creations. Just a few days ago, we covered a fan who recreated all of Middle-earth in the game, letting players journey from the Shire to Mordor on their own. Now, Reddit user ArbbyM9er has caught our attention with another remarkable project.
Instead of recreating an existing world, ArbbyM9er designed their own. The gamer built a sprawling fortress featuring a grand castle and more than a dozen surrounding buildings.
The project took 1,200 hours and 3.5 years to complete. Initially, ArbbyM9er tried to build without mods, but abandoned that plan after just two hours when they ran out of stone.
The result of spending a combined 1200hrs on 1 build over the past 3.5 years.

The effort earned 14,000 upvotes on Reddit, with users praising the creation:
I've been playing less than a month on Xbox and the continued creativity of this community keeps blowing my mind.
This might just be Asgard.
Almost looks like a Skyrim city.
This could easily have been a senior thesis in art school.
Valheim is available on PC and Xbox Series X/S, including Game Pass. The game recently received the Call To Arms update, adding new armor, a fearsome new enemy, and additional content.
