Gamer Imagines Assassin's Creed “Gameplay” in Modern-Day New York — Video

Redditor Vegetable_Writer_443 continues to explore alternate eras for Assassin’s Creed. Just a week ago, the gamer used AI tools to reimagine the series in the setting of Imperial Russia.
In the past few days, he has released two more videos. The first one envisions a brotherhood of assassins in modern-day New York (with a strong resemblance to The Division), while the second transports the protagonist to the Aztec Empire. For those interested in trying something similar, the prompts can be found beneath the videos on Reddit.

A few years back, we also covered an artist who envisioned an Assassin’s Creed set during World War II.
Interestingly, the second setting may not stay a fan fantasy for long. According to reputable insider Tom Henderson, one of the upcoming Assassin’s Creed entries — codenamed Scarlet — will take place across three regions: India, the Mediterranean, and the Aztec Empire.
Meanwhile, fans are waiting for the remake of Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag, which is set to launch before April 2026. The game was expected to appear at the opening ceremony of gamescom 2025, but it seems Ubisoft is saving the reveal for its own showcase.
