Steam Kicks Off Weekend Free Play Event with Void Crew and CarX Street

As is tradition, Steam has launched its latest weekend free play event! This week, you can play Void Crew and CarX Street for free until September 8th.
Void Crew is a first-person space action roguelite featuring cooperative gameplay for up to six players. You and your crew must navigate open space, destroy marauder and alien ships, craft equipment, and complete missions. A recent update (version 1.1.3) on September 4th added crossplay functionality to the game. The game has received 88% positive reviews. Steam Store Page.
CarX Street is a multiplayer open-world racing game with a vast selection of cars, an advanced car tuning system, and a variety of racing challenges, developed by the Russian studio CarX Technologies. In early August, the game received full Steam Deck support, and July saw the release of Update 1.7.2, introducing new features. CarX Street currently has a 70% rating on Steam. Steam Store Page.
In other free game news, Prime Gaming recently began offering GOG versions of Dungeons & Dragons: Ravenloft Series and Sid Meier's Civilization 4: The Complete Edition, as well as the Epic Games Store version of Into The Breach. Amazon will be giving away seven more games throughout September, including Spelljammer: Pirates of Realmspace, Tower of Time, and Afterimage.
