Hollow Knight: Silksong Runs at 4K 60FPS on Android Phone

TRANQUILITY, a YouTube content creator, has successfully run the PC version of Hollow Knight: Silksong on an Android smartphone using the Winlator Cmod 13.1.1 emulator.
The test was conducted on a high-end Nubia Red Magic 9 Pro smartphone, boasting an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor and 16GB of RAM, which launched in 2024. At a resolution of 2480x1116, the game achieved a smooth 120 FPS. Even at 4K resolution, the game maintained a playable 60 FPS.
Hollow Knight: Silksong launched on September 4th for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2. The game was also a day-one release on Game Pass. The launch was a massive success on Steam, peaking at 587,000 concurrent players. Currently, Silksong holds a 78% rating on Valve's platform.
Recently, we reported on how studios like Bloober Team, Amplitude, Akupara Games, Digital Sun, Coffee Stain, Little Legendary, and others reacted to the release of Hollow Knight: Silksong. Before that, test results surfaced for the game on seven different graphics cards, including the GTX 1050 Ti and RTX 3050.
