The Best Free PC Game of August on Steam Revealed

Valve released its list of the top new releases for August on Steam, highlighting the games with the highest revenue during their first two weeks after launch. The top free game was Horizon Walker.

Horizon Walker is a casual gacha RPG featuring 3D graphics, turn-based combat, and mature content. Players level up female characters, complete quests, battle enemies, and participate in events. The game originally launched on Android and iOS, with the PC version becoming available on August 25. It peaked at 3,746 concurrent players and holds a 73% positive rating on Steam.

As for paid games, the top list includes 12 titles: the card auto-battler The Bazaar, the American football simulator EA SPORTS Madden NFL 26, the anime fighting game Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles 2, the roguelike first-person shooter Abyssus, the tactical RPG SUPER ROBOT WARS Y, the third-person action game Gears of War: Reloaded, the top-down action RPG Titan Quest 2, the stealth action Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, the farming simulator Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar, the strategy game Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War — Definitive Edition, the crime action Mafia: The Old Country, and the mobile bookstore simulator Tiny Bookshop.
