Ubisoft has released a trailer for Splinter Cell: Deathwatch, an animated series based on the Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell game franchise. A new poster for the show has also surfaced online.

The animated series is set after the events of Blacklist. The story follows an older Sam Fisher, a former agent of Fourth Echelon, as he embarks on a new and dangerous mission.

"After a long absence from duty, legendary agent Sam Fisher finds himself drawn back into the fold when a wounded young operative reaches out to him for help," reads the show's description.

Splinter Cell: Deathwatch is produced by Ubisoft Film & Television. The show is created by Derek Kolstad, the creator of the John Wick franchise. Sam Fisher is voiced by Liev Schreiber, known for his roles as Victor Creed in X-Men Origins: Wolverine and Cotton Weary in the Scream horror series. The animated series will premiere on October 14, 2025, on Netflix. All episodes will be available to stream on that date.

In other Netflix news, the streaming service recently released the first teaser, poster, and several images from the fourth season of The Witcher, starring Liam Hemsworth as Geralt. Prior to that, Netflix released the trailer for Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery, starring Daniel Craig, which premieres on December 12th on the streaming service.
