Dying Light: The Beast Unearths Ninja Turtles, Harry Potter, and Minecraft Easter Eggs
Vladislav Nikolaev
The Dying Light series and its expansions have always been known for their hidden Easter eggs, and the spin-off Dying Light: The Beast, released on September 18th, is no exception. YouTuber xGarbett has shared some of his discoveries.
One Easter egg references the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. In the sewers of Old Town, you can find a location with pizza boxes, one with a mouse lying on top. In the center, you can pick up a melee weapon.
The second Easter egg is related to Harry Potter. Near the monastery, there is a brick wall with the number 9¾ written on it. This is a reference to the enchanted Platform 9 ¾.
If you walk through the brick wall, you can discover a third Easter egg – blocks from Minecraft.
Dying Light: The Beast is available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. Owners of the Ultimate Edition of Dying Light 2 received the game for free. Critics and players have warmly received the project, giving it a score of 82/100 on OpenCritic and 89% positive reviews on Steam. The game has been praised for its dark atmosphere, excellent optimization, good graphics, improved combat system, and the return of Kyle from the first game.
Recently, the developers sent players a gift in their inventory — the Spectral Bat melee weapon. A little earlier, TechPowerUp tested the PC version of Dying Light: The Beast on 33 different graphics cards, including RTX 3060, RTX 4060, RTX 5090, Arc A770, Arc B580, and RX 9700.
