Is Kojima Making a New P.T.? Gameplay Trailer for Photorealistic Horror OD Released

Hideo Kojima and his Kojima Productions held their Beyond The Strand presentation, where they unveiled a new trailer for OD: Knock — the cinematic horror project first announced in 2023. The game is being developed in collaboration with Xbox on Unreal Engine 5.
The trailer features the first snippets of gameplay. The heroine, played by Sophia Lillis, enters a half-empty room, walks up to a small table, and begins lighting candles. Suddenly, something starts pounding on the door, while ominous marks begin to spread across her face.
According to Xbox head Phil Spencer, OD: Knock will feature numerous innovations in gameplay, storytelling, and player interaction. Kojima added that his project blends elements of both games and cinema. We also know that OD: Knock will star Hunter Schafer and Udo Kier, with Jordan Peele — director of Get Out and Us — contributing to the script.
The game designer explained that the subtitle Knock reflects his fear of loud knocking at the door, and the trailer itself is filled with references and hints. It looks like the days of the original Death Stranding are back, and fans will soon be spinning countless theories.
OD: Knock does not yet have a release date.
