Steam Update Revamps the Store Design

Valve has rolled out a major Steam update that refreshes the look of the store menu. After several months in beta, the new design is now live for all users across platforms — including the desktop client, web browser, mobile app, and Steam Deck.
The redesigned menu is meant to be “more dynamic and personalized,” improving both game discovery and recommendations. These features now extend to more sections of the store.
The search bar has also been upgraded with smarter suggestions and a quick view of recently visited games. Meanwhile, the adjacent “Categories” tab has been reworked to display personalized favorite tags.
With these changes, we’re aiming to make your experience smoother and more tailored to your needs. We've been hearing from players, and experiencing ourselves, that some of the most commonly visited areas of Steam were hard to get to. So whether you’re a frequent shopper or a looking to build your game library, this new layout is designed to get you where you want to go with less effort.

As always, Valve first tests major features in the Steam beta client, which can be enabled in the settings menu under “Interface.”
