First Gameplay of Marvel’s Wolverine Revealed

Insomniac Games, the studio behind Marvel’s Spider-Man, has unveiled the gameplay trailer for the upcoming action game Marvel’s Wolverine. The game is set to launch on PS5 in fall 2026.

Marvel’s Wolverine promises a brutal third-person action experience with fast-paced combat. Players will wield Wolverine’s adamantium claws to strike enemies, chain together combos, and interact with the environment during battles. The story will feature iconic characters from the comics, including Mystique and Red Omega, and take players to diverse locations such as Canada, Japan, the island nation of Madripur, and more.

Following the trailer reveal, the developers shared new artwork and three fresh screenshots showcasing the main character. More details about the game are expected to drop in spring 2026.

Wolverine will be voiced by Australian actor Liam McIntyre, known to gamers for his roles as JD Fenix in Gears of War 4 and Cal Kestis in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.
