Nioh 3 Release Date Revealed in New Trailer

At State of Play, Japanese studio Team Ninja unveiled a new trailer and announced the release date for the action RPG Nioh 3. The game is set to launch on February 6, 2026, for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.
Unlike its predecessors, Nioh 3 will feature a less linear experience. One of the main highlights of the third installment is its large open-world areas, where players can explore a variety of unique locations, take on side quests, and participate in combat challenges. The game will offer two multiplayer modes: in the first, players can summon another gamer to assist with tough boss battles; in the second, players can explore the world together.
In the latest chapter of the dark action RPG series Nioh, you’ll master both samurai and ninja fighting styles as you battle formidable yokai while exploring thrilling open zones. The game promises a rich world true to the Nioh legacy, with areas that you can freely roam at your own pace. Within this grim samurai universe, you’ll face fearsome yokai, delve into shadowy, eerie villages, and confront the menacing Furnace.
Earlier in September, nearly 20 minutes of new Nioh 3 gameplay footage surfaced online, showcasing bloody battles, open-world exploration, and much more. You can check out the full video here.
