New Trailer Released for Saros from the Creators of Returnal

At the recent State of Play presentation, Housemarque—the studio behind Returnal—unveiled a new trailer for their upcoming project, Saros. The game is set to launch on March 20, 2026, exclusively for PS5.
Like Returnal, Saros is a third-person action game with roguelike elements. The story takes place on the planet Karkosa, shrouded in eternal eclipse, and follows the powerful Soltari hunter Arjun Devradja as he investigates what happened at an abandoned colony. Each run in Saros will be unique, as the world around the player changes after every death. Abilities and upgrades carry over, allowing the protagonist to grow stronger with each attempt.
Arjun is portrayed by English actor Rahul Kohli, known for his role as Ravi Chakrabarti in the miniseries iZombie. He has also appeared in Midnight Mass and The Fall of the House of Usher.
SAROS represents a major leap forward while retaining Housemarque’s signature gameplay style. Built around a dynamic combat system and a narrative full of mysteries, SAROS offers a new adventure set on the lost colony planet Karkosa during a mysterious eclipse.
