Alongside the first reviews of Ghost of Yotei, the first technical breakdowns have begun surfacing online. YouTube channel ElAnalistaDeBits published an in-depth comparison video highlighting the graphical differences between PS5 and PS5 Pro.
The base PlayStation 5 offers three graphics modes: Quality (2160p at 30 FPS), Performance (1080–1440p at 60 FPS), and Ray Tracing (1792–1800p at 30 FPS). The ray tracing mode features enhanced global illumination.
On PlayStation 5 Pro, the latter two modes run at higher resolutions. Performance mode targets 1800p, while Ray Tracing mode reaches 2160p. There’s also a fourth option, “Ray Tracing Pro,” which delivers 1440p at 60 FPS.
Overall, the YouTuber praised Ghost of Yotei for solid optimization, noting only minor frame rate dips in Performance mode.
Ghost of Yotei launches October 2. Players who pre-ordered can already begin downloading the game.
