Warner Bros. Becomes First Studio to Hit $4 Billion at the Box Office in 2025

Warner Bros. has become the first studio in 2025 to hit $4 billion at the global box office, according to a report from Deadline.
So far in 2025, Warner Bros. has released 11 films, earning $1.795 billion in the US and $2.2 billion internationally. The studio’s top performer this year is the film adaptation of the popular game Minecraft. Coming in second is the sports drama F1 starring Brad Pitt, followed by James Gunn’s take on the superhero classic, Superman.
Here are Warner Bros.’ highest-grossing films of 2025:
- A Minecraft Movie – $957 million
- F1: The Movie – $624 million
- Superman – $615 million
- The Conjuring: Last Rites – $403 million
- Sinners – $366 million
- Final Destination: Bloodlines – $313 million
- Weapons – $263 million
- Mickey 17 – $133 million
Disney is also expected to reach the $4 billion milestone this year, with three more blockbusters set to arrive before the end of 2025: Avatar: Flames and Ashes, Zootopia 2, and Tron: Ares.
It’s worth noting that Disney recently released a new trailer for Avatar: Flames and Ashes. Before that, the first official trailer for The Mandalorian and Grogu, starring Alien’s Sigourney Weaver, debuted online.
