New Screenshots Released for the Post-Apocalyptic RPG Shooter Tunguska 2: Whitefall
Vladislav Nikolaev
The developer of the post-apocalyptic top-down RPG shooter Tunguska 2: Whitefall has released new screenshots and also shared details about the upcoming demo.
The fresh shots showcase the main road running through the West Petrovsky area, a small radio station that has partially collapsed underground, a wind farm that players will be able to use to process plants into various ingredients, the Petrovsky Cathedral, and a small forest shelter where NPC expedition groups can set up camp.
According to the developer, the demo is set to launch in the first half of 2026 as part of the Steam Next Fest. It will include two locations (Iskraprom and West Petrovsky), procedurally generated contracts, side quests, survival mechanics, anomalies, and mutants.
I'm happy to announce that the development of Tunguska 2: Whitefall has reached an important milestone: the 10-month-long 3D modeling/texturing/level building for the demo has been completed! Now I have a better idea of what can be included in the demo for Tunguska 2, and a timeline for it to meet the world.
Tunguska 2: Whitefall takes place in the Tunguska Exclusion Zone filled with anomalies, mutants, and various factions, all struck by a mysterious snowy substance called the Whitefall. The game currently has no release date but already has a Steam page.
