Fan-run X accounts have shared new details on the PC release of Battlefield 6. According to the latest reports, preloads will begin on October 3 at 8:00 AM PDT, while the official launch is set for October 10 at 8:00 AM PDT.
The game will take up 75.97 GB on PC. Players will be able to download the campaign, multiplayer, and HD texture pack separately. The battle royale mode will arrive sometime after the main release.
Meanwhile, insider Tom Henderson has warned that the single-player campaign still needs additional polish and might disappoint fans, potentially lowering the game’s Metacritic score by 5–10 points.
On the bright side, the multiplayer mode is reportedly shaping up well — especially for millennial players. Recently, it was revealed that the game will feature tracks from Limp Bizkit, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Pantera, and other iconic bands.
