Electronic Arts and Battlefield Studios have revealed details for Season 1 of Battlefield 6, which kicks off on October 28. According to the roadmap, the season will unfold across three phases.
The first phase, Rogue Ops, will add the Blackwell Fields map, the Strikepoint mode, the Traverser Mark II armored personnel carrier, and three new weapons — the SOR-300C carbine, the Mini Fix sniper rifle, and the GGH-22 pistol. The second phase, California Resistance, begins on November 18 and brings the Eastwood map, a limited-time Sabotage mode, and two new weapons — the DB-12 shotgun and the M327 Trait revolver. The third phase, Winter Offensive, starts on December 9 and introduces a winter version of the Empire State map, a limited-time Ice Lock mode, and one weapon — an ice axe.
Battlefield 6 launches on October 10 for PC (Epic Games Store, EA app, and Steam), PS5, and Xbox Series X/S. Players can already pre-order one of two editions — the Standard or the Phantom Edition.
Earlier, EA revealed the exact file size and launch time of the PC version of Battlefield 6. Prior to that, it released a trailer featuring actor Zac Efron, singer Morgan Wallen, and athletes Paddy Pimblett and Jimmy Butler.
