‘My Best PS5 Game’: Ghost of Yotei Receives Near-Perfect Score from Japan’s Famitsu

The latest issue of Famitsu has arrived in Japan, with the cover featuring the heroine of Ghost of Yotei, which is set to launch tomorrow exclusively on PS5.
According to Gematsu, the new game from Sucker Punch earned a score of 39 out of 40, with three reviewers giving it a perfect 10 and one awarding it a 9. For comparison, the original Ghost of Tsushima received a perfect 40/40, while Assassin’s Creed Shadows scored 36 (9/8/10/9).
The review praised the game’s stunning visuals, cinematic combat, and immersive open world. Journalists also highlighted the story, which dynamically shifts based on player choices. One reviewer even called Ghost of Yotei their “best game on PS5.”
