New SpongeBob SquarePants: Titans of the Tide Trailer Reveals Evil Sandy Cheeks

THQ Nordic and developer Purple Lamp have unleashed a brand new trailer for SpongeBob SquarePants: Titans of the Tide. The footage showcases the iconic Jellyfish Fields location and a rather peeved Sandy Cheeks.
Alongside SpongeBob and Patrick, players must first make their way through the snow-covered Jellyfish Fields before braving the climb to Mount Bikini. But the icy conditions come with a surprise: the cold transforms Sandy into her chilling alter ego, Hibernation Sandy! And she is definitely not happy about someone disturbing her sleep... . Players can also experience a brand-new mechanic: jellyfishing on the Ghost Board surfboard, adding a fresh layer of fun and challenge to the adventure. To top it off, the trailer teases a selection of iconic costumes coming in the Season Pass, giving fans an early glimpse of the customization options waiting for them.
Much like its predecessors, SpongeBob SquarePants: Titans of the Tide is set to be a 3D third-person platformer. The game’s narrative sees the Flying Dutchman getting into a spat with King Neptune, leading to Bikini Bottom being transformed into a ghostly town. Players will explore diverse locations, battle foes, and collect various items. The game is slated for release on November 18th, hitting PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Switch 2. It will include Russian subtitles.
It's also worth noting that this past summer, Paramount Pictures dropped a trailer for the full-length animated film, The SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants.
