As part of The Horror Game Awards Halloween Showcase 2025, indie studio HideWorks has released a new trailer for the horror game Liminal Point, inspired by the classic Resident Evil series.
In Liminal Point, players take on the role of Lyra, a young woman who sets out to uncover the truth behind her friend’s mysterious disappearance by venturing to a fog-shrouded island. Throughout the game, gamers will explore diverse locations including a misty coastline, a mansion, a hospital, and underground sewers, battling terrifying monsters and unraveling the secrets of Lyra’s past. The developers highlight the game’s layered story, dark atmosphere, detailed environments, original soundtrack, and immersive sound design as key features.
Liminal Point is scheduled for release in 2026 on PC (Steam and GOG), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.
