Turns out he really is immortal. Despite suffering a leg injury, Henry Cavill is back in training for his role as Connor MacLeod in the upcoming Highlander reboot. The actor shared several photos showing his progress as he transforms into the iconic warrior.
Interestingly, Cavill also included a line from a cult RPG — and no, it’s not The Witcher 3. “Endure. In enduring, grow strong,” the actor wrote, quoting Dak’kon from Planescape: Torment.
As for The Witcher, Netflix recently wrapped production on the show’s final season, set to premiere in 2026. Liam Hemsworth will take over the role of Geralt, while Cavill left the project in 2022 to focus on other ventures — including his upcoming Warhammer 40K series.
Highlander doesn’t yet have a release date. The film is directed by John Wick creator Chad Stahelski and stars Cavill alongside Dave Bautista, Russell Crowe, Karen Gillan, and more.
