Leaked Star Wars: KOTOR Remake Images Reveal Blaster and Vibroblade

Outlet MP1ST has shared a fresh batch of materials from the canceled Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic remake once developed by Aspyr Media. Among them are several images, including an early in-engine screenshot.
Among the leaks are shots of the vibroblade and blaster, the starting weapons from the original game, as well as glimpses of the environment. According to the artist responsible for the weapon models, all equipment was designed with a modular upgrade system in mind, allowing players to swap parts and improve weapon stats.
Another image shows a test environment without textures. Interestingly, the bottom of the screen features two icons of Mission Vao — one of the protagonist’s companions — hinting at the return of the party system.
Earlier, MP1ST also uncovered early concept art depicting a location on the Wookiee homeworld of Kashyyyk.
The remake was in development at Aspyr Media until 2022, when the project was pulled due to quality concerns. It’s now being handled by Saber Interactive.
