Headup has announced that their brutal, roguelite FPS Bloodshed, described as a mix of Doom and Vampire Survivors, is coming to consoles. On October 23rd, players can experience the carnage on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch.
Bloodshed is a gory, retro-styled shooter where players navigate various biomes, slay monsters, level up, and upgrade their character. The developers highlight dynamic combat, diverse playable characters with unique abilities, a wide array of weapons, an atmospheric soundtrack, and an auto-fire mode as key features.
Bloodshed first launched in Early Access on December 12, 2024, across Steam, GOG, and the Epic Games Store, where it remained until May 22, 2025. The game currently holds an 86% positive rating on Steam.
Previously, publisher New Blood Interactive announced that its horror-shooter Blood West, currently available only on PC, will soon arrive on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles. Prior to that, a remaster of the dark, Doom-esque shooter Blood, titled Blood: Refreshed Supply, was unveiled.
