Developer IO Interactive has announced that their upcoming spy action title, 007 First Light, has been wishlisted by 1.25 million people. To celebrate this significant milestone, the developers will be gifting players an exclusive in-game skin and hosting a Q&A session.
The free cosmetic, dubbed Operation Riviera, will be available to all players. But the rewards don't stop there: if an additional 250,000 players add 007 First Light to their wishlists, a secret reward awaits. Details on this mystery item remain under wraps for now.
007 First Light promises to delve into the origins of a young James Bond as he transforms into the elite MI6 agent we know. The game offers a reimagined Bond story, featuring missions set in stunning global locations, exhilarating car chases, and a wide array of classic spy gadgets. The project is being developed by the Danish studio IO Interactive, renowned for their acclaimed Hitman series. 007 First Light is slated for release on March 27, 2026, across PC (Steam and Epic Games Store), PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch 2. Pre-orders are currently open at a price of $70.
In late September, IO Interactive dropped a new trailer spotlighting the character Celina Tan.
