Only days remain before Battlefield 6 officially launches, yet the shooter has already broken into Steam’s list of the week’s most popular games. The EA project has taken first place among paid titles and second overall, trailing only Counter-Strike 2.
In doing so, Battlefield 6 has overtaken its direct competitor — Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, which also entered the top but landed at ninth place in the overall chart.
The fall sale also helped bring back long-time favorites like Baldur’s Gate 3, Red Dead Redemption 2, and Cyberpunk 2077. Meanwhile, several new releases hit record player counts — Megabonk drew over 117,000 players, and Digimon Story Time Stranger reached 84,000.
