Digital sculptor Epic Creations has revealed images of a new collectible statue featuring Jade from the Mortal Kombat fighting game series. The artist took inspiration from the ninth installment of the franchise, released in 2011.

Sculptor Nikolay Hanzo also contributed to the project.

Jade is one of the most recognizable female characters in the Mortal Kombat universe, first appearing as a secret fighter in Mortal Kombat 2 (1993). She’s a warrior from Edenia, a close friend of Kitana, and a former assassin for Emperor Shao Kahn. Initially serving him, she eventually switched sides, standing with Kitana against Kahn’s tyranny. Her story often centers around loyalty, duty, and friendship.

Jade is known for her agility, speed, mastery of the steel staff, and her ability to throw razor-sharp emerald blades. In combat, she relies on acrobatics and technique, combining precise, rapid strikes with fluid movement.

Her signature color is green, symbolizing her loyalty to Edenia and contrasting with Kitana’s blue and Mileena’s purple. Over the years, the series has given her a variety of looks—from the classic masked ninja to more detailed, realistic designs in Mortal Kombat 9 (2011) and MK11 (2019).

Jade will also appear in the upcoming Mortal Kombat 2 movie, where she’ll be portrayed by Tati Gabrielle. Interestingly, New Line Cinema has already announced Mortal Kombat 3, even though the second film hasn’t been released yet (it’s set to premiere on May 15, 2026).
