Electronic Arts hasn’t shared official sales figures for Battlefield 6 yet, but according to Alinea Analytics, the game has already sold over 6.5 million copies in its first few days on the market.
The biggest driver of those numbers was Steam, which accounted for more than half of all sales. Earlier reports suggested that pre-orders on Steam alone surpassed 1.8 million copies.
Based on current estimates, total revenue from Battlefield 6 could exceed $350 million. EA plans to maintain interest in the shooter through regular seasonal content — the first season launches on October 28 — as well as a free-to-play battle royale mode coming later.
The game has also received a warm reception from both critics and players. On Steam, Battlefield 6 currently holds a 76% positive rating based on more than 74,000 user reviews.
Multiplayer impressions are coming soon — in the meantime, you can read our review of the single-player campaign.
