With the demo out, the developer is now shifting full focus to early access preparation. Another trailer is expected by the end of the year, revealing the release date.
Road to Vostok is a single-player survival shooter set along the Russia–Finland border after a catastrophic event. Players will explore abandoned settlements, scavenge for supplies, and engage in firefights. The game is known for its hardcore realism — the protagonist dies quickly, magazines are manually reloaded, and ammo counts are only visible when inspecting the magazine.
The project is developed by a former army lieutenant with over 12 years of experience in the game industry. His key inspirations include DayZ, Project Zomboid, Escape from Tarkov, and the S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Anomaly mod.
