The developers of Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 have announced a free weekend event, running until October 20 on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, and October 23 on Steam. A trial version is now available across all platforms.
Players can experience the first two missions of the campaign, three operations (Inferno, Decapitation, and Vox Liberatis), and all Eternal War PvP modes — except for the brand-new Helbrute Onslaught mode.
All missions can be replayed without restriction, and any progress made during the event will carry over to the full version. On Steam, the standard edition of Space Marine 2 is currently 55% off until October 25.
Earlier, Saber Interactive officially announced a full-fledged sequel, Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 3. The game doesn’t yet have a release date. The studio is also working on a Hellraiser horror project revealed last summer.
