REDMAGIC 11 Pro Launches as the New Ultimate Gaming Phone

Nubia has just dropped a new flagship phone built for hardcore gamers—the REDMAGIC 11 Pro. This device is aimed at the most demanding users and tackles the age-old issue of thermal throttling, a common weak spot for gaming phones, head-on with a hybrid cooling system that combines active air cooling with liquid cooling.

At the heart of this system is a miniature ceramic pump that circulates a specialized coolant, similar to the type used in server equipment. This pump consumes a mere 80mW of power and is backed by a turbo-fan that can spin at an incredible 24,000 RPM. According to the manufacturer, this combo delivers significantly better heat dissipation than traditional methods.

As for the core specs, the new phone is no slouch when it comes to its flagship status. It's equipped with the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite 5th-gen processor, paired with up to 24GB of RAM, and offers up to a massive 1TB of storage. The front features a clean, uninterrupted 6.85-inch OLED panel with no notches or punch-holes for the front-facing camera, ensuring a fully immersive view. Both the selfie camera and the fingerprint scanner are tucked neatly under the display.

On the back, the main camera sits completely flush with the body, eliminating any wobble. Its primary sensor is a 50MP shooter. Powering the device is a huge 8,000 mAh battery, which is enough for half a day of intense gaming or several days of lighter use. It supports blazing-fast 120W wired charging and, for the first time in the series, 80W wireless charging.

Pricing starts at 4,999 Chinese Yuan (approx. $690) for the base model with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The mid-tier 16GB/512GB version is set at 6,499 Yuan (approx. $900), while the top-tier configuration with 24GB of RAM and 1TB of storage will cost you 7,699 Yuan (approx. $1,065). The phone has already started shipping and will be hitting retail shelves worldwide soon.
