Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 goes free again — on the same day Battlefield 6 launches its battle royale

Activision has unexpectedly announced another free weekend for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 — less than two weeks after the previous event ended. Players can try the shooter from October 28 to November 3.
This time, the free trial includes only multiplayer and Zombies mode, with the campaign remaining locked. Players will also get access to the ongoing Halloween event featuring Jason and the Predator.
Interestingly, the promotion coincides with the launch of Battlefield 6’s free battle royale mode — a move some fans see as an attempt by Activision to lure players away.
I can tell this is a lazy attempt to sabotage the player numbers(unsuccessfully) of a certain game AGAIN but I can't prove it... pic.twitter.com/GlfAQ38nQZ

The next installment in the series, Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, is set to launch on November 14 and will be available on Game Pass.
