Dispatch Receives Episodes 3 and 4 — Player Count Skyrockets to 66,000 on Steam

The debut title from AdHoc Studio is experiencing a surge in popularity. Following the release of Episodes 3 and 4 on PC, peak concurrent players in Dispatch on Steam jumped more than fivefold — from 12,000 to over 66,000.
This result allowed the game to surpass cult interactive dramas such as Detroit: Become Human and the first Life is Strange, leaving behind every project ever released by Telltale Games. In the interactive cinema genre, only Life is Strange 2 remains ahead.
Even more impressively, the comedy about former villains turned heroes managed to outperform several major 2025 releases in peak player count — including Mafia: The Old Country, Silent Hill f, DOOM: The Dark Ages, Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2, and even Assassin’s Creed Shadows.
Players have warmly received the series so far — Dispatch currently holds an 85% positive rating based on over 9,000 reviews on Steam. Last week, it entered the platform’s top 3 best-selling games.
Not everything is perfect, though. Some fans felt that Episode 3 was slower and less exciting, but many agreed that Episode 4 «made up for everything emotionally», suggesting that the story is now building toward its climax.
The first two episodes of Dispatch launched on October 22, with two new episodes released each week through November 12. The game puts players in charge of a team of washed-up superheroes — all managed from the desk of a dispatcher juggling city-saving missions and messy office politics.
