Naval Battles and Boarding Combat: 15 Minutes of Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord — War Sails Gameplay

The developers of Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord have finally announced the release date for the long-awaited naval expansion War Sails. The DLC launches on November 26 across all platforms where the base game is available.
Alongside the announcement, the studio shared a 15-minute gameplay video showcasing an intense sea battle. Players can command their own fleet, ram enemy ships, and board them in close combat. Battles will require careful consideration of factors such as wind direction and ship weight.
War Sails also introduces a playable Nords faction, a new northern region, a dynamic weather system, and a host of new items — including weapons and customization options. The DLC will be priced at $25, with regional pricing yet to be announced.
On the same day, the base game will receive a major free update (version 1.3.0) featuring stealth mechanics, random events, a new weapon type — the sling — improved AI, and more.
