Wreckfest 2 Gets New Car as Fourth Update Arrives

Early Access racer Wreckfest 2, which launched on March 20th, has just received its fourth content update. The developers also released a fresh trailer showcasing the new additions.

The latest patch introduces the CRAP-IT system, allowing players to customize vehicle bodies with features like rust, dirt, decals, and more. Additionally, the update brings a new track, Crash Canyon 2.0, and a new vehicle, the Buggy. Furthermore, it includes improved shadows, support for extreme resolutions, reduced VRAM usage at lower resolutions, reworked vehicle suspensions, enhanced front shock animations, numerous bug fixes, UI refinements, and improved opponent AI, among other things.

Wreckfest 2 is currently only available on PC. The game has seen a peak concurrent player count of 3,153 and holds a 'Mostly Positive' rating with 73% positive reviews on Steam. The project is slated to arrive on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S in the future.

It's also worth noting that open-world racer CarX Street recently received its 1.9.0 update on PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation 5. This update introduced new cars, modes, and clubs.
