Dispatch Sells Over 1 Million Copies in 10 Days — Trailer for Episodes 5 and 6 Revealed

The interactive comedy Dispatch from AdHoc Studio — a team founded by former Telltale Games developers behind The Wolf Among Us and The Walking Dead — has reached a major milestone, selling over 1 million copies just ten days after release. The studio shared the news on social media in its signature tongue-in-cheek style.
2 days. 80 million copies. That would’ve been nice. But we sold 1 million in 10 days. Still pretty good.
Dispatch launched on October 22 for PC and PlayStation 5 and quickly captured players’ attention. On Steam, the game holds a 95% positive rating and a “Overwhelmingly Positive” tag based on over 2,000 Russian-language reviews, with a global score of 93% from 12,000 reviews.
The story follows a former superhero who becomes an office dispatcher, managing a team of rehabilitated villains while juggling city-saving duties and suffocating bureaucracy. Released in an episodic format, Dispatch saw its Steam player count jump from 12,000 to 66,000 after the third and fourth episodes — briefly surpassing Detroit: Become Human and Life is Strange in activity. The studio has now unveiled the trailer for Episodes 5 and 6, where the story approaches its emotional climax.
Critics and fans alike praise its sharp writing, strong performances (including Aaron Paul, Jeffrey Wright, and Laura Bailey), and a narrative tone reminiscent of Telltale Games’ golden era. Episodes 5 and 6 are set to release on November 5, with the season finale arriving on November 12.
