The promotional campaign for the final season of Stranger Things may be in jeopardy following reports that Millie Bobby Brown, who plays Eleven, has allegedly filed a complaint against co-star David Harbour, who portrays Jim Hopper. The news was first reported by Vanity Fair, citing Daily Mail.

According to the report, the incident occurred shortly before filming began on the show’s final season. The internal investigation reportedly lasted several months and looked into multiple allegations of harassment and bullying. However, the documents reviewed by journalists did not include claims of sexual misconduct.

Throughout the shoot, Brown was said to be accompanied by her personal lawyer, despite much of the new season’s plot focusing on the relationship between Eleven and Hopper.

The outcome of the internal inquiry remains undisclosed. This isn’t the first controversy to hit the series — back in 2018, an insider described a toxic on-set environment, though Netflix later conducted an investigation and found no violations.

The final season of Stranger Things will be released in three parts: the first four episodes arrive on November 26, three more on December 25, and the two-hour finale will premiere on December 31 both on streaming and in theaters.
